At 17, became the youngest summer intern in the Tuscaloosa, AL Planning Department.
After joining Allard Architects in 1998, Mr. Ward became a partner in 2001.
LEED Accredited Professional & Member of Middle Tennessee Chapter of the USGBC (US Green Building Council).
Mr. Ward contributes over 24 years of experience in architectural design, interior design, and master planning.
Recent projects include the renovation of the downtown YMCA, several building phases for Currey Ingram Academy, Vanderbilt University Studio Arts Building, Milan Elementary School, the Cohen Fine Arts Building, and numerous residential projects.
Michael’s talents and hard work are aptly illustrated by the dozens of architectural awards his work has garnished.
In addition to his professional work, Michael works extensively for community groups and organizations, including Nashville Cares and the Human Rights Campaign.
Michael enjoys relaxing in his award-winning arts and crafts style home, working in various art mediums and relaxing at his pool and gardens.
